New Perthshire Home
We are delighted to show you this new home being created in a small village, within Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, in Perthshire, Scotland.
Perhaps not the typical delivery for one of our home packages, but as they say, needs must !
This home, bound for Strathyre, near Callander, Perthshire, in Stirling council area, necessitated a slightly different form of transport from the usual articulated truck that we would normally utilise. Reason ? well the site is accessed from a single track road, which is over a hump back bridge, and once you get there, there is nowhere to unload or turn. Hence the use of this heavyweight tractor and trailer (courtesy of JRM Contracting Ltd) normally used to transport large excavators and earth moving equipment.
Due to the difficult access at the site, it was decided to use a telehandler instead of a crane … slower but effective.
The external of the panels have a “Thermo” membrane fitted, giving better weatherproofing and thermal performance. Should you have a site in a Coastal location, we are forerunners in using a new membrane for that type of location – “Thermo Extreme” – which we combine with other specification items in a ‘Coastal’ variant to our specification.
